My return to the CDL has not been smooth, as the Astros had a terrible start.
Anybody on my roster older than 25 is available. Prospects (even suspects) and picks needed in return.
In particular, the following players are available:
SP Sloan McDermott. Better than his 2039 stats, still very solid.
CL Johnny Herman. Very solid lefty
1B Ken Hopkins Yes, he's been terrible this year, but he had a 844 OPS last year and 998 the year before. Ratings are intact, and it seems like his problem is his morale stuck at "angry" (high desire for winning) and can't get out of his slump.
IF Henry Walter: Solid contact/eye
IF Terry Reed : Good numbers this year, kills LHP.
3B Wayne Miller Also great against LHP.
CF Jason Heyward Great power, should improve when he gets rid of "angry" morale.
Cf Andy Wood Perfect 4th outfielder. Great defensively, great baserunner, on base guy.

I need to trade Jason Heyward, he'll be a FA at the end of the season
Very good CF defense, he's having a great year with 19 homeruns and a 833 OPS, equally good vs LHP and RHP.
His salary is modest at 2M, but I can take on bad contracts in return.
I'm looking for a 2nd rd pick or similar prospects. |
